I thought I saw a post from Jeff Linder saying this thing isn't even going to be a hurricane anymore by the time it makes it to the Gulf.
I don't hate watching Kim Castro's updates on the KHOU YouTube feed. Partially En Espanol so it's keeping the theme of the thread.
New Levi Cohen video out. He explains the difference in steering between a weaker storm vs stronger storm. We will know a lot more after it's past Jamaica. Thankfully it's starting to finally succumb to wind shear and weakening a bit.
It’s coming in the gulf. The question now is where. If it survives Jamaica as strong as it is now that’s not good for us.
I don't know this person or if he knows what he's talking about, but he seems to explain stuff well. Hopefully Houston gets a bit of rain and that's it.
It's Dr. Levi Cowan and he is one of the best out there at explaining the variables involved with track and strength. He's been making these videos since he was a meteorology student and runs Tropicaltidbits.com. Edit: I was spelling his name wrong. Lol. https://www.tropicaltidbits.com/about/
To say the least. I remember back in the day when he was just a poster on wunderground forum under Jeff Masters blog. He was still in school and creating his tropical tidbits website. He is extremely knowledgeable and like you said, one of the best out there.
