Pickens and Buffet are 2 different people.

I get what you're saying, though.

To justify that bonus Forcucci will need to be one of the 3-4 best pitching prospects in the system when he gets back from injury.

Mildly surprised that Powell took less than $500k.

I’m not the best at the maths, but from the pool they had, in terms of slot bonus management, Houston traded their 3rd, 4th, 6th, and 20th round picks for a Competitive balance B pick (after the 2nd), two extra 5th rounders, and an extra 10th rounder.

    1st round: Janek
    CBB: Forcucci
5th round: P Smith, Hertzler, Powell
    7th round: Sullivan
    8th round: Howard
    9th round: R Smith
    10th round: Verdugo, Palmer
11th-20th round: David, Schiavone, Boettger, Mathieson, Vogel, Mayer, Wagner, Burleson

did not sign 20th rounder, did not have a

I think he is our 1 or 2 pitching prospect at the end of next season.

There’s absolutely no way to know that until we see his stuff once he’s recovered.

I have no idea if any of them will be any good, but I like that we are drafting a lot of pitching :)

No they don’t. Not even close. For one thing we have been miles better in the playoffs with more homegrown talent. Only Will Smith is a dodger development success on their current team.

What does NDFA mean? Not Drafted Free Agent? Seems logical but curious if it's right lol.

11 teams in MLB history have had 3 consecutive 100 loss seasons. Only 3 in the Modern MLB. The 77 jays (50 years ago, before free agency), the 2004 Royals, and us.

We had the worst record in baseball each of those years, the jays finished last twice, while the royals only once.

We had the worst 3 year span ever my guy. Completely true.

I am saying that assuming a normal recovery but it is true that there is no way to know that.
