Are you at all implying no more of the "catch-ball-at-three-point-line, balk-at-the-shot" for Sengun, or am I reading too much into the increased range thing?
Can't chop Brooks due to his awful contract and if they only keep one of Jabari or Tari, it'll depend on what kind of money Jabari thinks he's worth. Also, the team needs Cam at the 2 spot, so I kind of doubt he's chopped
The contract is decending such that it will only be ~13.5% of cap in the 25-26 season and about 11.5% in the final year. This season and last season, the Rockets didn't really care about salary and just wanted the best player they could get that would sign a decending deal in that price range. He'll likely be easily tradeable next season. On who I'd bet on long term, I like Amen (I'd pick him, Jeff Green and Holiday over the first group so the group comparisons isn't a fair comparison) and then probably Jabari even though I prefer Tari in the short term. I think Green, Brooks, Jabari, Amen and Tari have earned 25+ minutes this season among the current roster. It is up to Cam to unseat someone. I'm not sure Brooks is on more of a hot seat than Green as I expect Brooks to play better than he did last season defensively.
Exactly. Too much talent and not enough minutes to go around. Udoka is likely to base playing time on performance, so a bad start to the season might see a player's minutes transferred to others. Fertitta wasn't just blowing smoke when he talked about the depth of this roster. We have 14 guys who would be in the 8-10 man rotation on most other teams.
"Money well spent." Let's continue eating at Landry's. Ime: we all love the Golden Nugget but we are staying at the New Practice Facility. We're good.
A reason why they shut down the Ignite program...... those guys coming out were to a high degree not really bright light bulbs.
Definitely. Call me crazy, maybe it's just me, but didn't Jalen look like he took a few puffs before media day? Look at his "player profile" picture, he doesn't look like himself.
