Every year posters are disappointed about open practice. You would think people would quit going to these things since it's not treated seriously. You want a scrimmage, go to a preseason game. Tickets are relatively cheap.
I even told my friend that Reed is a generational shooter and he rarely misses. As I say that he started to brick so many shots in a row and she was like you jinxed him But yeah I was disappointed with the lack of scrimmage as it felt like a waste of a time. The highlight of the open practice for me was when we were leaving Toyota Center, we saw Tari in his car at the red light and he took the time to row down his window and let us know that he appreciated us for showing up. That made me a bigger fan of his. Hopefully he stays healthy this year.
The best part are the interviews that sound like the responses have been programmed into them. They all sound like robots repeating similar stuff. "So, ok, guys... the whole thing is - you gotta say stuff without really saying stuff, ok?"
Cam with one of the laziest and slowest releases, strolling from one rack to the next one. Winner winner chicken dinner.
I was talking specifically about the "3-point" contest brick fest video. I only wish I could go to an open practice, but I live in Victoria, Canada. And if I did go, I definitely wouldn't have been disappointed!
