Yes, losing at home to the Spurs was a serious fumble by the Warriors. Wed, Apr 9 vsSan Antonio L114-111
The NBA did not want the Lakers to play GSW. im convinced. NBA is not going to let Ja and his arsenal in the playoffs
..........................Rebounds Golden State Starters.. Moody...............0 Butler.................1 Green.................3 Podz*.................7 Curry..................3_______________________ Total..................14 Zubac................17
Lost 1 against Cavs ..... won both against the Celtics and rest of the East teams. While Chet missed 3 months and Hartenstein missed 1-2 months.
Lmao no. just no. There was far more resting and coasting in the west this RS than before. Think about past seasons and how there were absolute juggernauts in the west every division . Heck our young inexperienced team Managed to clinch the 2nd. The 2017 rockets would wipe the floor with this thunder team, don’t forget we could have won 68 if we didn’t toss the last couple. the thunder are good but everybody seems to be suffering from significant recency bias.
That is true but the whole load management will shape up the next decade..... People have to adjust to it, that is all. And nope, the Rockets would have more injuries.....this year was free of freak injuries but that doesn't mean next or next next year would not be free of injuries. There is no Iron Man award for playing all 82 games.........those things don't mean much when you suffer injuries later when you are old.
The decision makers in the league office are not going to let the imaginary gun toting Ja beat the Disney Golden Child Curry on the national stage. It’s not happening.
Interesting - I wonder does that combine Lakers and Mavs or just Lakers My thoughts exactly Jah will NOT make it out of the PlayIn .. . definitely not the 1st round Rocket River
I don't disagree. But anything can happen in a game. Someone gets hot. Someone gets cold. Someone gets injured. There are things that even the officials can't change.
Yep. Desmond Bane could go bombs away for 45 points. JJJ might decide to destroy a team that shouldn't be able to guard him instead of committing 2 fouls in the first 3 minutes of the game. Unlike the Warriors, the Grizzlies rested their main guys Sunday in preparation for playing on Tuesday. And I didn't even mention Ja. The Clippers defeat was crushing for the Warriors, but I expect them to bounce back with a machine-like performance. Knowing the Grizzlies, it could be over during the 3rd quarter.
My point is this thunder team isn’t even close to a top 20 RS team of all time, cherry picking point differentials etc in an era where teams are resting, load management and without the typical juggernauts is why these stats when taken out of context are just insane. My point stands the 2017-18 rocketd team and many before them would absolutely dismantle this thunder team and were far far better in the RS
