Ridiculous, when it’s not clear on such a great game winner, they should just let it be. One of the worst things in the NBA today is after a clear game winner you hear all referees panic, blowing their freaking whistles like they are English coppers and dampen the excitement tremendously. Btw Ausar was awesome for Detroit late, but somehow on a fast break they don’t pass it to him twice and only got lucky he caught the rebound for the tip and got fouled. Same thing Sengun did when he had Amen for the lob. Will never understand that.
SAS is annoying AF, but he’s right Can u trust that Jalen Williams and Chet will step up offensively to give Shai help in big games or tough playoff series? OKC is dominant, but they are so reliant on 1 guy being great every single game…If Shai were to have a good playoff series instead of great, would those 2 step up to make up the difference?
I just wish they would call the fouls the same. You can’t touch Shai without them blowing the whistle but other guys get clobbered and no call. Chet should have fouled out but nope.
meh Shai is averaging 33 ppg and only getting 9 free throw attempts a game…you’d swear he averages 15 free throws a night the way people talk today he dropped 40 and only took 8 free throws of the 21 instances were a player has averaged at least 32 ppg, Shai is 15th in free throw attempts
I think its more about the fact that he runs like he's a giant toddler and his shot form looks like a weird slingshot that somehow turns into a guided missile.
SGA will win because of Jokic fatigue, similar to two years ago when Embiid won. The difference is SGA is not whining like a baby about how much he wants the award and OKC won’t play him more minutes late in the season specifically to help his case.
