I'd rather be a blind homer fan than a blind hating A$$hole who does nothing but spit ish. You're a fkn troll. If you have friends, they're probably all A$$holes too. Go back and look at your post history. 99% of it is hating A$$ ish. You know you're here for one thing. One thing only. To troll. Your whole schtick is as fkn funny as "Bobbythegreat" from "right behind you". You're a caricature as hilarious as your avatar. Narcissist on Jiggyfly's level. I would say once again to get over yourself, but you're an addict. Troll on Bob.
All we need to do now is find our Darth Vader and Palpatine. This will make our storm troopers look better.
Imagine your entire internet purpose being to hate on Jalen Green and defend it by being a “fan of the team”. This person is seriously unhinged and everyone should block him. You still end up seeing other posters talk about him BUT you don’t miss a single bit of quality. There is literally nothing else.
go watch any highlights and you will see so many terrible possessions that ended up as a "highlight" but were extremely difficult shots. whether because of naïve play from young players, shitty system/coaching from silas, or both, i expect all of that to change with udoka and fvv. if it doesn't then these young players 'aint it.
I don't think looking at rookies and second year players' percentages is a good measure of what kind of shooters they are. KPJ shot 31% on 6 attempts in his second season. And for veterans, why just last season? Why not look at their whole careers? Of the players who played more than 2 NBA seasons: VanVleet's career average is 37%, and never shot lower than 36% over 6 straight seasons before the last. Brooks shot pretty decent in his first two seasons until he started jacking lots of shots and his average plummeted. Jeff Green was never a consistent 3pt shooter throughout his career. Porter's career is 36% with one bad season. Tate is bad. So we have two above average shooters in FVV and KPJ. Brooks isn't bad if he is reined in from jacking bad shots. I don't have much hope on Tate and Landale because of their age. For the young guys, Smith and Green should improve. Whitmore and Eason are decent shooters in college. Sengun has improved in his second season. We still don't have an elite shooter on the team. But there is hope that it will be better as a team.
Van Fleet is only "good" as a catch and shoot guy. His percentages anywhere else are simply below average. It would appear to some that his passing acumen will lead to better shots for others so I'll hold out hope for that. On paper this looks like another bad shooting team - hopefully the find a way to beat the numbers inside the arc someway.
They've both proven they can design and/or orchestrate a successful offense. silas and our aau scrubs haven't shown jack ****.
If the shooting ends up being bad; I'm OK with it if things like pick n' roll game improves. If the OFF RTG is still bottom 5, could be a fair trade off if DEF ends up mid tier: 12-20th.
Some say the past is the best predictor of the future. Unless, players IMPROVE their shooting which is possible. Shooting mechanics can be taught and practiced. For one, how to hold the ball, two, release, three, arc, four, follow thru, five, rinse and repeat. If the ball drops through the hoop from above it has less of a chance of bouncing on the rim. Flat line shots usually bounce out, unless they are lucky like Jabari's buzzer beater. Nine times out of ten that shot is a miss.
