Dallas is big. Toronto has all of Canada. Milwaukee is the smallest market.

There's no alternating at all.

 

I understand the politics, but the fact Austin doesn't have a pro team in the 3 major sports is criminal. We got enough people and money to sell out a 110K college football stadium at premium prices and the 3rd highest MLS team by revenue only behind the two LA teams.

 

nah. terrible at the plate. make maybe an ok play every now and then but has never been anything special to me.

 

San Antonio / Austin area has 5 million people and ONE pro team, it's weird.

Texas isn't represented well enough with pro sports.

 

Tropicana field is ****ing hideous.
Switching to the twins and target field is like night and day.

 

I have come to think of the Austin/S.A. corridor as Texas's 2nd metroplex.

And yes, it is strange.

 

None of those come close to East Coast Philly

 

Ann Arbor is 30 miles from Detroit -- and Detroit has the Major 4.

 

There were talks of the spurs moving to Austin for awhile.
I'm sure that's all out the window now that wemby is there.

So I absolutely loved the ALDS scheduling until I found out we were winning the division and getting a bye.

Now Gausman or Gray will be able to pitch game 2 this Sunday and then game 5 the following Friday.

The advantage to the bye is we get their #4 starter to start the series Saturday. That makes game 1 for us a must win.

We need to end the series in game 4.
