****ing stupid that the nl teams only play back to back once.
They get the advantage of renting their bull pens

You’re tripping. That could still lead to multiple runs scored by someone on first that he gets to third with a single, etc.

I wish him the best and I’m thankful for all the great memories here. Nothing against him. That said…

I hope he strikes out or hits into a DP every AB while making multiple errors a game.

The MLB is crazy for scheduling our game Sunday during the same time as the Cowboys vs. 49ers. It’s pretty safe to say there won’t be many people watching that don’t live in Houston or Minnesota.

The AL had that schedule last year for the Divisional Series. Astros/Mariners had an off day between games 1 and 2. I guess they alternate that schedule each year between the leagues.

The Stros are the defending WS Champion and we continue to get scheduled for non-primetime games or games up against Sunday night football. I'm pretty sure if this was the Yankees, Red Sox, or Dodgers they wouldn't schedule their games like this.

old news. of course that's the case. it's always been that way. not sure why folks are so surprised at the schedule. it hasn't changed this entire run

There was no chance the stros were getting a night game saturday. Those were clearly going to go to the Dodgers/Atl. same song and dance

i guess. it stopped being annoying a long time ago since its become a norm.

As long as the stros win in the end, that's all that matters.

Money is always the bottom line.

Success does not matter to the broadcast companies, selling advertising and projected number of viewers (which determines how much they can charge) does.

MLB makes the schedule based on their wants.

Houston, and especially Minnesota don't command the expected eyeballs nor $$$ to put into a primetime spot above some of the others.

Honestly don't care for time. Wish they played all early time.

Sure enough KFAN's midday host Dan The Common Man Cole led off his broadcast with "Houston you have a problem"

It’s also because fox has the AL and also has CFB games later.

that’s also why they’d rather have a Sunday 7 pm (vs two afternoon games) so they don’t compete with their own networks football games.

it’s fine. Could be worse (could have been the noon game).
