I wonder if the Vikings will sit people next week, vs the Bears. What do they have to play for? They have secured the division and can't get the top seed, right?
Trading Down seems like a good option as long as you retain control over at least two of the QBs. ie Trade 1 for 2, then if neither QB is chosen... Trade 2 for 3 and so on and so forth. With the rise in prospect status of Levis and maybe even Richardson, it might be possible to skip a team unwilling to trade. But it depends on the team's evaluation of the QBs and whether they are different enough in their upside. But I am playing around with the idea of collecting 2024 First round pick from the worst teams of the 2022 season with a thought I haven't heard in a while that better QBs are available next year. Anybody heard anything about that (24 QBs) recently? The games are inconsistent on the status of future picks. Some say we already have two picks and other do not. In either case, I've managed to pick up as many as 4 additional picks by trading down on the game and still pick up either Stroud or Young as teams trade for Carter, Anderson and Murphey along with a trade with Denver for lower picks for their 2024 1st rounder.
Off the subject, how did I change my Astros to dark mode and now I can't find Dark mode for Texans? It's much easier on my old and failing eyes. I know it's bound to be on one of the "set" trees, but they tend to hide what I'm looking for. Maybe it makes more sense in Chinese. It certainly doesn't in English.
Unsubstantiated rumor that Kayshon Boutte along with other LSU personnel were dismissed prior to their bowl game. TIFWIW but the timing of him declaring was really strange.
They can still get the 2 seed which would mean another home game in the divisional round if they got past the wild card. But the Niners would have to lose to the cardinals which won’t happen barring some kind of catastrophic injury. My guess is they’ll treat it like a regular game. The bears can beat them though.
If you want to get extra pissed off...Ron Rivera didn't know that WFT could be eliminated from the playoffs if they lost yesterday until after the game.
Sam will likely give it his best shot to try and beat us. Hate losing, but this is the one we need to drop to ensure we get #1. Secures our place for #1 player or likely biggest trade haul if we decide to take that approach. Adam Spolane on 610 mentioned several trade back scenarios, but the one with SEA for #1 was #3, #19 this year and a 2nd rd pick in 2024. I would have to make that deal unless the guy we have ranked #1 is head and shoulders above the Top 3 on our board.
Damn shame Caleb Williams wasn’t eligible this draft. Must go BPA - no such thing as fit or need with a team this bad.
