Nearly every website and draft analyst has Young in the top 3 on their big board.

A lot have him higher now but there’s still a few that have him top 5.
    I’m not saying he’s not a prospect, but he’s not a can’t miss number 1 guy

Have you seen Levis play? He sure seems to struggle against good defenses.
Just look at his numbers. They are slight above average for a college QB.

Levis is Blake Bortles, Rex Grossman, Matt Leinart, Brady Quinn, David Carr, Joey Harrington, Dan McGwire, Rick Mirer, Ryan Lear, etc.....otherwise a bust waiting to happen.

I’ve watched every game he’s played. Same as Young.
Or as much as is available.
Young can very well be Tyrod Taylor, Marcus Vick, Tyler Huntley, Josh Johnson, Seneca Wallace

Stroud can very well be JT Barrett, Dwayne Haskins, Jacoby Brissett

(You know since we’re going by race comps and being busts)

Levis is a physical freak, arm, speed, size. Scouts have said he’s a football junkie that is an extreme leader, but he’s raw. Same as Allen.

Young is an absolute stud QB in terms of skills. But there’s not much getting around the physical skillset

None of those players have passing numbers even close to Young.
SEC: 75 TDs, 12 INTs, 8035 yards in 32 games.

Those are some of the best numbers over a 32-game period....EVER.

The fact that a guy that’s almost the same age as Davis Mills is that raw should be a glaring red flag.

I agree completely. It’s also why I’m not a fan of Hooker, who’s even older

Bryce should be the pick to bring some excitement and anticipation.. But I hope he goes elsewhere because I like the dude and we are so far away from being competitive... His bust potential would be through the roof here... I think if he goes to Detroit, Seattle, Jets, or Washington, he's gonna be instantly special.. They just need a QB to take em to the next level and they all ( I think) have the picks to trade up ... Which would probably be ideal for the Texans any damn way.

Flutie was Young before Young and played with lesser talent

    Flutie also won a Heisman.

The reason Flutie didn't get his NFL shot until after he played in the CFL for the same reason I dont want Young to be picked 1-1. He's a midget.

Agreed, Iwould also put Maye in the 2024 discussion. I also like him more than any QB in this draft too.

I dont think Young is it, anymore than I thought Flutie was it.

Give me the Duggan at 4-103 over Young at 1-1. If Caserio can trade back that's even better.

I’m glad you’re planting your flag this hard. It will make it even sweeter when Young proves you wrong.

If this guy and Verse are there at 32I dont know who I would take. Love them both as prospects. Having a 6th OL who can get down the seam and has good hands is invaluable.

Flutie was no where near the talent Young is.

Where you're wrong is that I hope I'm wrong.

I'm also not a denier of history.

Young will be a good player like Flutie was. It's not like I think Young is going to bust. You think Young is 1 in a million. I respect that you hit on inside straights. I dont. Hopefully the cards turn up in your favor.

Did you see Flutie play in college?

There's a lot of similarities in their games.

There's a reason Flutie also won a Heisman. He was a great college player too.

A great start to the draft and improving the Texans future would look like this.

    1-1 Carter
    1-15 Tyree Wilson
    2-32 Washington
    3-65 Achane
    3-80 Stromberg.
    4-103 Andrei Iosivas
5-136 Duggan, I would trade up into the 4th for him using one or two of the 6ths.
