Shitty, feel bad for the guy. Having the season of his life and about to get a nice pay day and that happens
Bryce finna be 5'3 by the time this thread heads towards April. Any pictures of Bryce standing next to any known human? The way they continue to protect and will be continuing to protect the qb, Flutie would be making a killing if he was born in the early 90s.
Both of them also play against worse defenses and in Williams case, his receivers are significantly better than Alabama’s current receivers. When Young had similar receiver talent last year, he looked just as good as Williams against much better defenses. The size is obviously a concern, but we don’t know what it will be until he’s measured officially and either way it didn’t prevent him from playing well against Georgia twice, a defense littered with nfl talent.
Look, I love Bryce in terms of ability. But size is important, if you don’t have good size you need to have elite athleticism. If the dude was even 6’1 I would be all over him at number 1. No question. Also, Maye lit up a Notre Dame defense that held Stroud in check.
I didn’t mention Stroud for a reason. Young is the only qb I’d pick in the top 10 in this draft. If Nick doesn’t like him, he should wait till next year.
The whole “they have less skill around them” argument is also dumb and just pushing your narrative. What about the defenses they are “reading”.. I’ll take Bryce young picking apart elite SEC defense, over whatever skill you think is necessary to dismantle Duke or Wake Forest… reading a defense, going through progressions, adjustments at the line… these are all things you can’t teach. Being 2 inches taller is such a cop out. Go yell at the wall about Joe Burrow’s small hands.
You can take your little sensitive ass on somewhere. It’s Alabama, you can make excuses all you want but they have elite talent every year. North Carolina is no where near that level. And they’ve played some solid teams. And Bryce is no where near the production of Maye. Small hands has nothing to do with being 5’9 185. Flutie is bigger than Young
Cleveland lost again, while a few other 3 win teams won. The Raiders also earned their 3rd win, giving Houston a little cushion. Good day.
Haha man I forgot all about the Joe Borrow small hands narrative. Those so called experts look like idiots now.
Also, the narrative that Young has played elite SEC defenses this year is false. They’ve played a weak schedule.
