With the number 2 pick in the 2023 draft the Houston Texans select Caleb Williams USC...they called dibs for next year...

Bench Mills and/or Cooks would’ve been the easiest and most logical thing to do.

Anderson at 2 and Hooker at 12 works for me. I think you have to reach for Hooker or you won't get him.

There is no way in hell Hooker should be drafted at 12

Texans are so tight-lipped, no one knows what they are going to do on draft night. That is why speculation has changed seemingly every day.

The Texans won't be picking #2 next year. They are not trading up, either. Pick the QB now...

A defensive player is not going to win you a Superbowl...without a QB. You will be better in 2023...so you will not be in a position to get Williams or Maye. Trading up is too expensive when you still have needs to come. Take the QB now.

Nick hired Lovie in the first place. What was Lovie supposed to do? shoot I would try to win too if I knew I was a goner after the season. Lovie had nothing to lose and was set up in a position to give a F U to an employer who was going to fire you. Anybody would do the same. It's Nick that created that situation in the first place.

What is with this fascination with the one read 25 year QB coming off a torn ACL? Please explain it to me like I’m six.

The firing could have happened the week of the game. They did it hours after the game which is just as disrespectful.
How about not allowing Cooks to suit up for the game. Nick could have done that because cooks wasn't feeling his contract and wanted out.
Bears FO and coaching staff were united on what they were going to do.

As for CF posters coaching the last game.
I was here. It would have been a tough decision, watch the Rockets vs Timberwolves or coach against the Colts.

    No explanation necessary; it's delusion.

"cal and hannah are more involved but not to the point where they interfere with scouts and Caserio, building is split on cj stroud, only picked Levis for his mock for the texans because he's more pro ready over Richardson, people have taken advantage of Cal after his dad died, bijan is going in the first 20 picks, doesn't believe texans will draft him"

Exactly, you can't blame Lovie. This is on Nick. This is the reason I don't trust him with the draft. He passed on Sauce and Jordan Davis last yr.
