Mac Jones won an NCAA championship, set the record for all time highest QB rating and completion percentage in NCAA history, and led his NFL team to a 10-win season in his rookie year. His resume is vastly superior to Bryce Young's and CJ Stroud's who haven't played a snap in the NFL and had less success and inferior stats in college.
I don't think there's a lot of difference between the 2 except one has jewelry. Jones is the guy that bridges the QB position until 2024 when you draft a QB unless Jones tears it up next year.
I like Mac. There’s no way you get draft capital to get a 2024 QB with Mac on the team, especially when you’re burning a second or third on Max this year. Interesting concept but it’s one step forward two steps backwards, if you get Mac, he’s going to be your QB.
Lol Stroud is following Terrace Marshall, Panthers WR and vice versa. Panthers QB coach is following all 4 top QB's.
I am slowly warming up to the idea of Texans taking Anderson at #2, and if any of the main 4 QBs of this draft are left at 12 take whoever it is then. If they'll all gone then just go BFA at #12. There's endless word salading going on about all of these guys but the bottom line, none of these guys were ever projected to be franchise changing QBs. This draft was always pegged as a weak QB draft, and that's likely still the case. But if they just take who is available at #2 between Young or Stroud I would be ok with that too.
I've never had draft fatigue until this year.. **** exhausting to read, hear, and watch.. Really wanting to get this draft **** over with ASAP
Board going to go nuts when "With the 2nd pick in the 1st Round of the 2023 NFL Draft, the Houston Texans select Will Levis, QB, Kentucky."
Hell at this point I take it.. I don’t hate Anderson.. just would rather have a qb.. I’ll take AR15 also
