Texans odds at #2 Stroud-200 Will +300 Bryce +300 Lance Z was right about Vegas odds when it comes to the draft.
Other thing is - these odds could hold true for player [y] at pick # [x]. Its indicating, either Panthers draft Bryce or Texas trade up to #1. Again could be smoke and mirrors but where there's smoke...
mad I’ve As I’ve said a million times in this site, Vegas odds on all topics are based on where the money is expected to go, then adjusts based on where it’s starts going and then adjusts again based on where the money is against different possibilities. They are built around making sure the book wins in any outcome not predicting the right outcome.
(They are promoting the hell out of that red helmet. Guessing that will be their new primary next year? Maybe?)
I sort of agree, but take Hooker for example. It is good to have an S2 on him because in the offense TN ran he had very few decisions to make.
Speculation… draft night will be something else. Texans have been tight lipped this entire time.. interested in seeing what they will do.
Remember, I told yall that when the Panthers jumped up to #1 it wasn't for Young or Stroud. It was for Anthony "Superman" Richardson.
They are going to take Stroud or Young. I think all this is just posturing and smoke screens. I'm still not confident that the Panthers are that set on Young because all of this could easily be read as trying to get the Texans to panic and move up. If you are the Panthers and really want Stroud what you do is go on about how you want Young. This way you get your guy + assets. I mean anything can happen of course but I'd be really shocked if the Texans didn't take a QB at 2. It would be overthinking things. Just take the QB, this whole "Next class is better!" thing don't work for football. Football is the most unpredictable team sport of them all. Surefire prospect bust and trash prospects become all time greats. You draft Stroud if he's there or Young and you just hope they are better than advertised. No one wants to go through a another 2-3 win season just to do this all over again.
I'm starting to think that maybe a deal with the Devil (Colts) should be explored. If your not drafting a QB with the 2nd pick then trade with the Colts for the 4th overall pick, this years Colts 2nd rounder and 2024 2nd rounder of the Colts. The Colts were definitely picking a QB with the 4th pick. Get it out of the way and then you can draft either Will Anderson or Tyree Wilson with the 4th pick and have additional draft capital.
feels like media is ignoring that DeMeco a couple weeks ago all but said they are taking one of the top two quarterbacks
