If anyone could run this offense, why would the Texans spend a first or second round pick on him? Just pick up a serviceable QB in the later rounds.

I would pick Bennett up in the later rds to compete with Mills next year and draft a franchise QB in 2024. That's if I just had to satisfy my need for midget p*rn.

 

Good Question. Because the McNair's want a QB to sell to the fanbase is my best guess. Matt Schaub and Matt Ryan went to the Pro Bowl running this type offense.

Your bias against Young has zero to do with Tua. Your constant criticism shows your bias.

 

That doesn’t answer why you feel we need to spend a first or second on Hooker.

 

Late 1st round to get the extra year. If not, 2nd round. I don't think the Texans should use a 1st or 2nd round for a QB this year. I'd rather draft a QB next year. I just think that the Texans are hell bent on drafting a QB early this year.

 

What criticism have I had towards Young other than to point out a QB having success at his size has been almost non existent in NFL history? Is this really criticism or me not going along with the sheep? Maybe it's just us disagreeing.

Also I don't think comparing him to Tua is criticism. It's a very fair comparison. IMHO

What I laughed about is how BOB's word is suddenly gospel and yes I not only find this to be ironic but very humourous.

I'm just pointing out his limitations historically in the NFL and how his game somewhat mirrors Tua's.

It's like y'all are saying I dont think Young can play in the NFL? Talk about biases, comparing Young's mental game to the GOAT might be a touch of bias. If Young becomes a top 10 QB at his size for a decade of health I will be very happy and he will have overachieved IMHO at his size.
