I like him too, but I worry about his accuracy sometimes. I'm hoping our staff can work with him on his fundamentals/footwork like the Chiefs did with Mahomes.
To be honest, have never seen anyone express concern about his accuracy. His completion percentage as a starter is over 66%.
yup…there are no issues with his accuracy. He is accurate, throws with touch, anticipation and throws guys open.
If you just look at the stat sheet, then his completion percentage was just below Stroud's for last season, but the game tape tells a different story. Many of his misses are not close.. some of them are due to pressure (not his fault), but numerous others came from a clean pocket. I'm just saying that Stroud's misses looked much better than Young's misses. And often Young is up on his toes, which could be related. Anyways, we will likely draft him, and I fully support him.
I didn’t watch game film but I did watch every throw he made in college and I never had any concern for his accuracy. I think as a total package, with every skill a successful QB should have, he is the best in this draft.
I see you're not willing to take the L on this one, regardless of what happens...Lol... But, regardless of who they take at 1, there's nothing Bryce could've done by throwing at the combine to change that. As a GM, either you think Bryce's size is too much to overcome, or you don't. If you think the Georgia game can be reproduced consistently, then you 100% take CJ Stroud, and don't think twice about it. I think the Panthers think with CJ Stroud, they can do that.
They aren’t meeting his demands because he wants a quarter billion dollars fully guaranteed and the Ravens think the Watson deal was an outlier and not the new norm.
Yeah when you have the opportunity to draft a 25 year old QB coming off an ACL injury, you just gotta do it.
Best QB in this draft by far. It's not like an acl is a killer for the QB position. Not that I want Caserio/Ryans to draft a QB.
I know how everybody keeps talking about how much Lawrence has improved. I still think he was avg last year.
Just watched Will Levis "Every Throw vs Georgia" video. If the Texans draft Will Levis, I will officially retire my position in the ClutchFans Forum, and crawl back into my chin.
No offense, but I'm not sure how anyone can come to that conclusion. I haven't seen even the most irrational Tennessee fans say this either. He definitely had a good year no doubt, but considering their offense (a little gimmicky), his age (25 BEFORE the draft), and the injury, I think "best QB by far" is a little bit of a reach.
Nothing wrong with that tape, the pick in the end zone was a throw he’s made. Has to learn he can’t do that against bracket in the pros. Other that that there was maybe 2 bad throws. A few drops and a couple nice plays with his legs. That showed him take deep shots, drill the middle, hit check down against pressure. Nothing wrong with that tape when Kentucky is way overmatched.
