Probably, but it doesn't make the question appropriate. There is no right way to handle that question.
I think if the Bears don't trade down(if they do it might be for Tyree Wilson), they take Anderson and leaves both QBs to us
Will Anderson's comment about Bryce makes me want to take Anderson. Both leaders. Tough decision or maybe not since Lovie decided to win that game and screw the entire city. Even if you don't like Young, teams are wanting that slot. Ugh. But what is done is done.
Sure but these players aren't always going to get appropriate questions whether from the media, social media, fans or just the general public. If you are making the "investment" on that player, whether or not they are going to punch someone in the face after an inappropriate question or comment would be a factor IMO.
Don't think it changes anything as far as getting one of Carter/Anderson at #4. Only thing is if they are out on Carter, then they'd have to get Anderson at #1.
With seatles apparent interest in qb I’d love to trade back for 5,20 and take tyree at 5. If Richardson is available at 12 if not bpa
Yeah. I don't remember any reporters asking players if their parents were prostitutes or if their parents were drug addicts. It is an inappropriate question.
Why does it matter? Should they be able to ask you more personal questions if a job is paying you 100K instead of 50K? They can get that information other ways. You don't ask someone at a job interview if their parents were drug addicts or in the sex trade... and you don't ask someone their sexual preference like teams have before.
With the issue with Carter, the Bears will have to stay at #1 to select Anderson....unless they don't value him as much as they should. Sucks for the Texans if Anderson goes #1, but they can take Young and make some fans happy.
He's still under investigation, more changes could be levied. He drove recklessly, more than likely under the influence and the result of his reckless driving was a crash in which two people died, he then fled the scene of the accident, possibly because he was drunk. He sobered up and returned to the scene and proceeded to lie to police about the details of the crash. He might not get drafted at all
The Carter news makes the #1 pick even more valuable which should make Texan fans happy regardless. Texans get Bryce Young or the Colts have to pay even more for him and we get Anderson, win win IMO.
Carter probably drops due to this. Bears just lost a lot of leverage if they were hoping to get one of their guys at 4. Houston's chances just got better at landing their guy at 2.
Dam Jalen Carter! This draft is falling apart by the day. All we need now is a rapist and a drug addict to complete this vicious NFL cycle.
Playing devil's advocate, Chicago wouldn't trade below 4 in order to secure Anderson or Carter. However, in light of recent news Anderson might fall past 4, so now teams like Carolina might be in play if Chicago is willing to gamble on the draft slide for Carter. No one knows really, but hey makes the drama all that more interesting.
