I don’t think many would say Mayfield and Murray worked out well.

They made their teams competitive. I believe their teams did better in their first two years than Lawrence.

Which is why we should skip a qb and tank again to try for Drake Maye? Hmm..

With Kliff, one thing for sure, it’s either Bryce or CJ at #2

Man that’s an extremely low bar for the a #1 overall pick.

Yes I’ve seen that posted 5x already. Means little to nothing without the first pick.

Thing is, there is no comparison for Young. He is the outlier of outliers. In other words, just a college quarterback.

That’s your opinion and it is vastly different from most that do football for a living.

Probably because he's sick of going against Bryce.

Of course not but they are right far more than those of us who are spectators and participants of a message board,

Quentin Johnston gives me DeAndre Hopkins vibes. Really.

Yes, this is a weak draft,

Forget about depth in this draft. Trade up as many times as possible to get foundational players.

Trade 4- 103 and a 5th plus a 6th to move up into the top ,75 of the draft and take the risk of hitting on 6 top 75 players. In this draft picking out of the top In this weak draft the risk is worth the reward. IMHO.

Is being competitive what you're looking for?

Wouldn't he want him on HIS team if that were the case?

It’s a beginning. Success for any QB is the talent around them. To me, being on a team that doesn’t have much talent and help make them competitive is a great beginning. Of course it is not the goal.
