I wonder which Tackles from school can transform into Guards or even Centers as a pro. It's like SS in baseball. The best athletes are drawn to SS in lower levels and some move to other positions in the pros.

The skill sets are not identical so not everyone who plays tackle can adapt to a move inside.

    CJ Stroud to the Texans

Probably fake news to get teams to panic though

If Young goes number 1 to bears, draft defense or trade down. As long as Stroud stays away from this team, we’re good with any pick

I would do that. And I don’t even like Fields as a passer

yup probably a bunch of BS but regardless it goes back to how bad the texans screwed themselves by winning that last game.

He could end up being a better version of Hurts if in the right system, right coach.

I think it’s a long shot but I’d take it if it was only number 33 ( not happening )

Take Carter or Anderson at 2. These are Generational talents. Go for Skoronski at 12. If Tanner McKee is there at 33, take him. If not, Trade 33 for Fields.

Would you consider taking Young #2 and McKee #33? Mutt and Jeff situational rather than Prima/Backup?

Generational talents? Are they any different than Clowney? Or Chase Young? How many generational DL talents have their been in the last generation?

I’m good with the best defensive player at 2 but a tackle when they already have Tunsil, Howard and Heck seems doubtful. Also I’m going to laugh when Tanner McKee’s nfl comp is Davis Mills.

Exactly. Anybody with measurables these days that is quick is called a generational player on the defensive line.

Which is precisely the reason why if you like a quarterback, and think that he can be your guy for 10 plus years, you take him. Talk about generational.
