He needed a better final game to win DROY, but he still had a great season

I think it’ll be a photo finish but WAJ wins it by a hair. Seattles CB Witherspoon is out of the playoffs and even with the East coast bias you can’t ignore the Eagles collapsing and Jalen Carter being a part of it. Those are the other two candidates in consideration.

That's cool that they cross film watch us from afar.

49ers defensive FA's : Kinlaw, he can play 50% of the snaps here at a very good level.
AZeez- Al- Shaair, currently with the Titans but could be had.

Add Chris Jones and retain Greenard and WAJ is going to be an all pro next year.

Not giving up on Pierce. He'll be fine next season back at starter.

What makes you think Pierce is returning next year, much less as the starter?

Because hell be on the third year of a rookie contract. If he goes anywhere, it'll be because the fo traded him or released him. I doubt they release him

The coaching staff seem REALLY low on him, I wouldn't be surprised at all if he's cut especially if they go after a FA RB

He could still be used on ST and his salary would be nearly equal to any vet they brought in for st or at the rb spot. Plus, even with this down year, his rookie season production still provides him with value around the league. He would be a trade candidate before a waive candidate.

Especially now that we know we traded the correct pick for him.
