Not going to lie, last week was the first week I really felt like Will Anderson was dominant.

our run defense has been dominant all season. last year we had one of the worst run defenses in the history of the nfl. alot of that is Will

I bet he is. I'm happy he's here too; wanted him most coming into the draft. Hindsight since CJ has become phenomenal, but it's crazy we got Anderson and CJ. I'm glad Texans playing well enough that next years draft they gave will be in the mid to late 20s.

Who were the kids complaining about "I don't want to see win rates, I want to see numbers..." or something like that?

Oh Really? I had not noticed.

. My point was for those who focus on sacks. Area 51 has been just as disruptive and more impactful to the entire line succeeding since the front seven isn't stacked.. it's more impressive.

A DT putting up numbers that a Edge is putting up is more impressive IMHO.

Man, if we could get a really solid to dominant DT, this defense will be STOUT.

I was 100% for Will Anderson. I simply did not want Bryce Young simply due to his short NFL relevant height. Bryce Young is 5’10” and your ideal height is 6’4” or 6’5” for a QB. CJ Stroud is 6’3” which is a tad shorter than ideal but somewhat negligible.

Will Anderson was the best rated prospect and should have been top pick based on information I was reading.

When the Texans drafted Stroud I was okay with it, but was ecstatic after they pulled the trade for Anderson.

In retrospect, the Texans made the right choice selecting CJ Stroud. As he looks every bit an NFL veteran / Pro Bowl / MVP candidate.

I think Anderson Is coming around and is exerting his ability onto the game. I am still super high on WillAnderson, and very happy the Texans swung for the fences with that trade.

I personally thought that Will Anderson was DeMeco’s hand pick choice. But by picking Stroud, they opened up the door to make the trade with Arizona. As there was a bigger market for Stroud than for Will Anderson.

    Yep true.

But if they switched teams, I've asked this question before.

Would Jalen be as dominant as a DT on this Texans team being doubled without the front that Philly have?

And how much more dominant would Will be?

Carter is the best defensive player in that draft. He was the best player in college football last year.

Guys a stud, this doesn't mean Anderson isn't a very good player in his own right. I really wanted Ryans, Caserio to draft both of them. With this said, they did the right thing by taking Stroud and Anderson, two guys that are leaders who are young tone setters and although Carter might be a future HOF Sapp type guy, Anderson was the correct pick for the rebuild.

    Will Anderson: 3 SK 37 TKL 24 SOLO 6 TFL 13 QBH 0 PD
    JJ Watt: 4.5 SK 39 TKL 35 SOLO 9 TFL 10 QBH 1 PD

Through their first 11 games. Interesting that JJ's 11th game was also vs Houston's B!tch and he really broke out... 2 SK 7 TKL 5 SOLO 2 TFL 4 QBH 1 PD

Anderson needs to develop some moves and techniques to get around guys. JJ can help with that.

Now do the run defense. I guess the tackles must cover part of that though.
