I've never seen any QB who hasn't had any not so good moments. Nobody. Nobody said he's the greatest ever that I've seen in here. Now, he has definitely done better than any previous Texans rookies in the first two games. There will always be ups and downs with rookie quarterbacks, so you never know. Some of the greats had really bad first year rookie starts. Nothing wrong with Texans fans being optimistic and excited about CJ, and it certainly isn't unrealistic to think he could do great with a healthier team, experience, and more protection.
Optimistic is great. I’m not seeing optimism. But I do get it, there’s something to root for, something to watch for. There’s a buzz now, it is refreshing
Yeah, it’s an SEC school who hung with Georgia, a Big 10 school and the best 1AA school in the country. It’s a good schedule. What other top QBs have played anywhere close to the competition?
Looking forward to watching some film breakdowns on YouTube, but to me it looked like cj on Sunday had no problems finding the open man and making the proper reads when he had time in the pocket. That shows that he can process the field.
Bryce Young looks like he has a better line but worse receivers than Houston. Didn’t know that was possible. It feels like the gap in arm strength between Young and Stroud is fairly substantial.
Bryce running for his life even when he has a lil time because the WRs can't get mimimal separation to even make a catchable throw..
Carr in a clean pocket throws a pick into triple coverage. I’m sorry but I don’t see Stroud making that kind of decision in a clean pocket.
Lol hell yea. Lovie gave the Texans a great Christmas gift. Initially I was pissed about beating the colts but it might turn out Lovie got us a franchise qb.
Never thought I’d see a starting QB smaller than Kyler Murray, but Young is just tiny. And way less talented than Murray.
