In a recent piece done by ESPN and Matt Miller (NFL Draft analyst), Stroud was ranked as the 9th best QB prospect of the past five years. Stroud was ahead of names like Kyler Murray, Justin Fields, and Mac Jones. And was behind names like Zach Wilson, Tua Tagovailoa, and Justin Herbert
Please leave me out of this in the future, but I'd like to point out that I'm not sure you understand how Vegas lines function. It's to get the bettors to put enough money on both sides to ensure that the house always makes its money. Why do you think lines move?
I understand completely how they work. Their win totals are typically on the money. Within a game or two. Of course they want action on both sides, but they wouldn’t put the win total at 8 because there would be no action on the over. On top of that, almost every pundit has the Texans with one of the worst records in the league.
Im sorry at least 28 teams passed on him. Im pretty sure 4 teams didn't have a 1st. Miami wouldn't have taken him, so 29. Browns wouldn't have taken him...so 30. SF wouldn't have taken him, so 31. Denver would have passed also...so 32.
Could've been much better. This really comes down to if you think Stroud's the guy to bring a Lombardi to Kirby or not. If you think he will bring the hardware to Kirby then the trade was worth it. If you dont then it wont be worth it. I was on the waiting for a QB train, although I dont think Stroud will be a bad QB, I question if he's a championship level QB?
You're a perpetual naysayer. Essentially the same as a hater. Yes dont overrate Stroud as the greatest prospect in 10 years, call weaknesses for what it is. Just its only been "rain on parade" mode, even when there's no parade.
Wonder how many additional pages will the game Thursday generate? @cmoak1982 , prepare to be tagged all preseason after every good throw bruh .. But you can't tag everybody on the bad ones.. lol ... But Football is back boys!!!!!
