It was from the Nickelodeon Spongebob broadcast of the game. Chargers fans were having fun/coping by blaming the dirty bubble.

I believe he ran a 4.74 at his combine...not a Lamar Jackson by any means, but that is about the same as Josh Allen, and faster than Purdy, Mahomes and Prescott.

In other words, he can run.

He didn’t run a 40, and no he’s nowhere near as fast as Allen or Mahomes. Not even close.

Straight line top speed he’s acceptable. But very limited burst and agility

Allen I'll give you, Mahomes is more agile than fast, and I'd argue CJ probably has a higher top end speed. Though I do agree, that Stroud, while plenty fast for a QB is not agile enough to pose a real run threat that defenses are going to stay up at night worrying about.

That said, it's nice to see CJ take the chunk yards when they're given to him.

    That’s fair.
I think elusiveness is more important than flat out speed. Mills is a perfect example, he ran a 4.58.

CJ has to take those yards when given, have to at least be a threat. Specially when the offense isn’t scheming guys wide open

The first tweet is good to see, considering one of the knocks on him coming out of college was that he struggled to create outside the pocket. Young man turned that into a strength... granted he didn't have much of a choice, it was create outside of the pocket or get killed in it this year... SMH

If he's going to actively look to reach the sticks and extend plays/drives with his wheels its a game changer. He can do it. I suppose the coaches reel him in given he's not super athletic and one awkward fall explosive hit would probably lay him out. Still when I think of the Georgia game and last week vs LAC I cant help but fantasize an offense where you intentionally throw in some RPO or designed runs to loosen up the defense. At the very least having him squirt out a few times on 3rd down will do wonders for a game plan.

That tackle scared the crap out of me when CJ came down on his knees.
