Hopefully today's game helps CJ get on the right trajectory throughout the rest of this season. After the lucky play Stroud looked like the Stroud of old.
This is honestly soul crushing as a Texans fan lol… especially being from Houston, where we’ve suffered enough with the heat and traffic. How is it possible that after all these years, we’ve never won a divisional playoff game? Like, not even by accident? It’s like we’re stuck in some cosmic loop where success is always just out of reach. But I really feel like CJ Stroud might be the one to turn it around and break this curse we have. The guy already looks like a star, and for the first time in a while, it feels like we might actually be heading in the right direction. Hopefully, he’s the QB who can finally help us break through, win some big games, and maybejust maybe get us to a Super Bowl sooner than later.
Houston NFL teams havent even gotten to a conference final game since the late 70's. Near half a century . The woeful Lions have gotten to conference final twice since then. (Can blame Jacksonville & Carolina for making it harder on expansion Texans to build up. When they famously both made it to conference final their 2nd year of existence, it was seen as too much too soon). So its been extra grueling as a Houston football fan
Man, after the lucky ass play CJ turned it on. Up to that point I was really nervous about the offense after Metchie fumbled that pass, I thought , oh boy, here we go again but I was shocked the offense used that play as a spark, I also loved that they kept with the running game in the second half, albeit you can do that when your ahead and not chasing points. CJ, was spectacular.......................Now, the million-dollar question is, will CJ continue that type of performance in KC or did we use all our positive mojo Sat.............I think the KC game will go along way in the CJ narrative, step up my young brotha and show us what you got. That was a true a$$ kicking n Sat, and the weird part is we made a ton of mistakes yet we overcame them and FOUND a way to win........................so proud
It was nice to see the other team's interior O-line fall apart for a change. I skimmed through a Chargers game thread, and it sounded a lot like ours usually do. "Our O-line sucks. Fire the OC now! So predictable! Why is the O-line coach still here? The game is rigged!" "The dirty bubble attacks Harbaugh and then we start sucking? That's no coincidence"
Apparently, it has to do with the Nickelodeon broadcast. https://ftw.usatoday.com/2025/01/ch...uined-season-spongebob-broadcast-nfl-playoffs
