But there is no cabal, no ‘they’ that manipulates everything. No system as complex as the NFL can run that way, even if it tries. There are hundreds of moving parts and disagreements and random shifts. If you have ever been in a senior role, you’d realize no one can manipulate a system that involves independent team owners, free agent coaches, thousands of unrelated media outlets, etc. in the way you or idiots like Cowherd or Bayless describe. But because you have a fixed theory in mind, you look at the randomness and say ‘There! There’s the data point that supports me!’, while ignoring every data point that doesn’t. It’s the same mechanism that has credulous people believing there is an increase in crime because of cherry picked stories on Fox News. Stop wasting your time with this nonsense. Not sure where you’re getting that from but the NFL markets the hell out of black qbs. Christmas Day had 4 black qbs starting. Jayden Daniels is on tv a ton, Mahomes, Hurts, CJ, Lamar etc. it’s nowhere like it use to be in the Warren Moon days. Now HC is a different story but QB is no longer an issue.
