Well the players voted, which means they fear guys that can run and pass, as it makes them harder to prepare for. I respect that list, Lamar is an MVP after all. Jalen however is a product of Steichen IMO.
This, my fandom with the Texans only knows disappointment and then last year happened and I let myself get a little excited, but not to much mind you and now my expectations are high and the whole world knows about CJ and the expectations are SB and that little voice in my head tells me to not buy into all the hype, the schedule is a gauntlet.........I'm trying not to get out over my skies but dam this kid is special, not only on the field but off of it too which to me is just as important, especially after the "other guy" dominated the news for 2 years for all the wrong things. I know I'm not supposed to disagree with anything Stroud says, but he made a mistake when he was to humble to include himself by calling the Offense a five headed beast. It is six because if you cover the other five, CJ will dance into the end zone on you. It is a Six Headed Beast. CJ and _______ have a special connection. I heard that about almost every receiver at some point. I just want to see the practice special on the field for those not yet getting the reps.
Regardless of how badly you believe the national media has treated the Texans during their history (or just the last few years), every Texans fans must acknowledge CJ is a full-blown media darling. That said, the slathering praise from certain members of the media makes me sick to my stomach.
