Everyone and their momma coming out saying they loved Stroud and would've definitely wanted to draft him. That they definitely believed in him. What makes them think the Texans didn't want to draft Stroud to began with? Hell, I think the rumor of them trading to #1 was to draft Stroud, but pulled back when they realize Panthers were going to take Young anyways. All is history, CJ is a Texans and any other teams (and their owner or former employees) can claim whatever they want.
He does think Stroud is special. As evidenced by him calling two shot plays in a row on 3rd and one on what could have been the game winning drive.
Also, I just want to say that I love that red helmet with the color rush jersey. I know this is off topic from the thread, but I keep seeing it and I love it.
