I’m not sure what I expected from CJ this year, probably not much. If you’re not happy what you’ve seen from him so far something is wrong. Especially with how the line was the first two games. I’m pretty damn excited by the potential, coupled with what we have already seen.
Stroud just looks so calm and under control. It's an absolute joy to watch from a rookie in his 3rd game and impressive AF. No happy feet, no staring down first options, just standing in the pocket, making his progressions and delivering the ball like a 10 year vet.
At 21 he has the poise to understand when to just throw the ball away. Like not many highly talented QBs at his age have that maturity to know "ya this ain't the time force things". Usually talented high drafted QBs at their ealy stage love to force things. And usually after a couple of seasons learns that patiebce and maturity.
So I watched part of the 1st games and the Texans lost. Today, I decided to take one for the team and just scorewatch while fixing the car. Texans win. Ya'll are welcome.

Lovie Smith and Davis Mills both wanted to win that last game last season to stick it to the Texans. Instead they ended up saving the Texans from themselves. Build them a statue.
