Can't imagine KPJ being too psyched about being demoted to the bench lol

 

I have concerns however I will remain hopeful he develops a decent shot. I voted yes in the poll in hopes he pans out. He does have a high ceiling and I hope he reaches it.

Do you realize that a 21 year old who put up 16 ppg against high schoolers isn't better than Kevin "Scoota" Porter Jr who put up 19 ppg in the actual NBA?

 

I like Amen as a person seems like a really good dude. He's not who I would have picked but he's not the worst selection. Hopefully he learns to shoot a little bit and this pick will work out.

 

I never saw an OTE game. Looking forward to seeing this kid play in the summer league.

 

My mood: I liked POST - hate what's been done to our team by Tilman and co.

 

If the Rockets are serious about adding cap space, that may not be an issue. Because he may not be here much longer. That being said, I do think he'd thrive in a 6th man role. I could even feasibly see him as a SF, but I'd prefer the Rockets add a vet for that spot or grow Tari into that role long-term.

 

Tyreke Evans would be the "cautionary tale" comp. Dude had talent like Amen and was a star, but was never super efficient, and he fell from a great height as fast as anybody ever.

 

Imagine if we would have drafted Whitmore 4...

 

KPJ is a better player. Amen won't be playing full time his rookie season.

Not a fan of the pick but I wasn’t when the Texans drafted JJ Watt. Who knows what will happen. Never liked non shooters. Hoping for the best.
