I'm pretty sure 4 potential Final Four teams will be eliminated tonight Go KSU Go Arky Go Ugh...would love to see FAU advance but I do love Rick Barnes Go Hoping for a good game
That was a special performance, and I was glad to witness it... but MSU's offense was like watching a van Gundy team. He has some resonance with Izzo. And kinda bummed that UCLA folded like they did. Blah, not a great hoops night.
I thoroughly enjoyed 3 out of the 4 games (and the 1 team I really wanted to win, won), can't ask for much more than that. We all should have known that a UCLA-Gonzaga game was going to have some sort of crazyass finish, I'm surprised UCLA's last shot didn't go in.
Damn, are most of the heavy travel teams are knocked out already? If UH goes with some of these smaller schools, will Houston take a L on the tourney?
They looked very impressive in their win over Arkansas. Looks like they are putting it all together at just the right time. They are really big, fast, and skilled. I expect to see them in the Final Four.
I don't think anybody's stock has really risen or fallen so far. Most of them were eliminated early and didn't show anything new. Jarace Walker and Brandon Miller are the only obvious lotto guys left. Walker looks great on defense, decent offense, playing smart. I'd say he's performed the best, but it hasn't been breakout type stuff. Miller is not scoring well and is apparently playing on an injury. Outside the lotto: Jordan Hawkins, Julian Strawther and Marcus Sasser are great shooters/scorers. Noah Clowney is a raw, mobile, floor stretching big. All could go mid-late 1st, and they're playing alright.
