Do we want the Thunder to make the play in or miss it so our draft pick for the clippers will be better?
I think it depends on whether they want to play the Warriors or the Clippers. They are in a unique position of picking their 1st round opponent.
Need Atlanta, Toronto, Lakers and New Orleans to pull off upsets tonight. Need the Warriors to come through too!
could be good... rest on the back to back, get some playing time the final game to get back in chemistry. but doesnt seem like there is any chance the starters will play "a lot" against the clippers if they do at all... just have to hope the clippers suck that day lol
Very possible that Clippers, Lakers, Pelicans will all be tied. How does the tie breaker work? Just looked it up. 1. Is best winning percentage amongst all 3 teams against each other. 2. Doesn’t count in this scenario 3. Best conference winning percentage. Clippers 4-3 Lakers 2-5 Pels 4-3 Pels 6th seed Clippers 7th seed Lakers 8th seed Clippers vs Lakers in 7-8 play-in
Shouldn't it be: 1. Head-to-Head record: Clips 4-3, Pels 4-3, Lakers 3-5 Clips and Pels are ahead of the Lakers, but Clips got swept by Pels. So #6 Pels, #7 Clippers, #8 Lakers?

Could land 16-20 if the Clips don't lose a play-in game Could be 12-14 if the Clips lose a play in game. Clips have to lose at least one of their two remaining games for the chance to fall to play-in spot. Also out of the Warriors, Lakers, Timberwolves, and Pelicans, only the Twolves and Pelicans hold the tiebreaker over the Clippers for playoff seeding. Although tied records, outside of the lottery/playoff distinction, are still coin flips on draft night I believe, there is a number of teams the Clippers could potentially have coin flips with - Lakers, Warriors, Pelicans, Heat, Timberwolves, Hawks
True, but if they do match up in the 7-8 play-in, I like the Lakers chances since PG is out and the refs will have their say as always in the playoffs.
Looks like the Clippers are 5 unless they lose a game. The best hope is for the Suns to be motivated to beat them in the last game, to avoid a playoff matchup with them.
The only hope now is Clips lose and the Pelicans win for a shot at a lotto pick, outside of that looking very likely pick will be slotted at #20, with the potential for a 3-way coin flip with GSW and the Heat (18-20)
The Blazers were toying with me that game, then they did a Rockets in the 3rd quarter and nose-dived. Damn, so close to having a lottery/15th/16th pick. Oh well. Tomorrow, both games @ 2:30pm : NO vs. MIN LAC vs. PHO
Ohm Mishuk saying Suns resting all Book, CP3, Durant, Ayton vs Clippers. TJ Warren questionable or doubtful. Clips is resting nobody except Mook and PG13 are injured.
