The talent is there. There is a reason the Astros paid him so much. And let's not forget that it was under Luhnow that he was scouted and that decision made ( or at least so early in Click's tenure that he didn't have time to really impact it)

It would not surprise for him to have a 2021 Meyers type AAA first half and force the Astros to make personnel de

“He was a little sore, which is to be expected,” Baker said upon his arrival to camp at The Ballpark of the Palm Beaches. “We’ll have to see. We’ve got to chill. Don’t make something. You asked me.”

Baker cautioned the media about sounding alarm bells over McCullers, who returned late last season from a strained forearm injury and made eight starts in the regular season and three more in the playoffs. He gave up five home runs in his final start of the season, a 7-0 loss to the Phillies in Game 3 of the World Series.

When asked specifically what part of his arm was sore, Baker said: “Same thing.”

Honestly would be ok with just having Lance sit out every February thru August to rest his arm, ramp him up in September and ride him in the playoffs. Dude just was not meant to pitch a full season in the big leagues.

I’m going to need Dana Brown to swindle Corbin Burnes away from the Brewers. I do not trust Lance to stay healthy at all.

I'm not a Huge Dusty fan, but maybe, just maybe he has a point. It's not time to ring the alarm bells. But doing so is a byproduct of calling everything "soreness" from expected fatigue to amputation.

If Chas is going to have a breakout with the bat I’d think he has to get rid of that closed off approach at the plate. That is definitively not the way to tap into power going the other way 90% of the time. I think I saw his hat were

there is nothing more valuable in baseball than the pulled fly ball. If Chas doesn’t abandon that maybe he’s a 20 or 25 HR type of guy which would unlock a new level with him. Any word if they are looking to do that approach wise?

This guy should report on UT sports with this kind of insight. He would fit right in

“Kyle, you picked up some baseballs in the cage. What does it mean to you? How does it feel?”

Melendez is listed at 5’8” and Garcia at 6’1”. That doesn’t look quite right to me but maybe it’s the perspective of the photo.

No I haven’t heard anything as far as Chas going forward other than they want to work on him evening out his splits some but I don’t know how they intend to do that.

I know that Bagwell was supposed to work with him.

I think Garcia is slouching a bit. Jairo Solis is a big kid; I’m hoping he is a super sleeper; he was on track to be the next big thing before all his injuries.

We always hear about players reporting "early".

I want to hear who the players are that report only exactly when they're required to... right to the second. Anybody?

Greinke found out that players didn't have to report until well after the pitchers and catchers report date 2-3 years ago and made a point to show up at the date required. Not sure about others.
