    Some mock drafts had Gilbert's Tennessee OF teammate Jordan Beck ahead of him. Beck was also really good in college (though not nearly as good as Gilbert) and has more traditional size (6'3''). Beck could ultimately also be a plus OF'er.

    Beck's been no slouch in the early going either, he's running a 165 wRC+ in the Rockies HiA org.

    Maybe no bad options but obv we should be super happy with Gilbert.

    Dezenzo hit his 4th HR of the year just now. Crazy that he has an ops of 1114 but only 4 HR.

    Complex leage teams start in 2 weeks. The FCL begins 6/5 and the DSL begins 6/8. The Astros are down to 1 FCL team but will still field 2 DSL teams.

    In his 2023 debut, Ray Gaither struck out two in a 1-2-3 6th inning for Corpus.

    He started this season on the IL, so it looks like he'll start off in the bullpen. Gaither also spent a good chunk of 2022 on the IL too, so a shift to relief could be taking place for him.
