They won their Europa League group, so there's something to look forward.

Meanwhile, Bayern appears to be better without Kimmich and Goretzka, at least in the middle. 19-year old Pavlovic stole the show tonight.

Even lands you a seed in the first pot, so a higher chance to be back here:

Good draw for Bayern, still a bit underwhelming matchups.

Some are maybe underestimated. Porto v Arsenal should be good. Inter/Atletico will be interesting. I can actually see PSV beating Dortmund. They are absolutely dominating the Eredivisie. The rest are meh...

Don't think Porto will withstand at least in the second leg. Inter/Atlético will be 50/50 indeed, Napoli/Barca as well and Dortmund is a dumpster fire, won't be surprised if they fail German football once again. Would've been hilarious if Mbappé faced the other Real.

Sancho back to Dortmund on loan and Donny van de Beek to Eintracht Frankfurt on loan. Good to get both of those out of the team...for different reasons.

Timo Werner to Tottenham on loan. A move I didn't see coming. Not sure why he wants to come back to a league he clearly wasn't built for.

Werner has always been useful only in a team relying on quick counter attacks. Leipzig has abolished this style in the last few years and thus better options. Not sure if he's the best fit for Tottenham, but there's not much to lose for both sides.

Sancho to Dortmund still not cleared, maybe the deal will collapse because United hopes to sell higher in summer. Dier to Bayern seems to happen, though.

I feel like there's going to be a garage sale when it comes to United in the summer. INEOS will look to clear off as much dead weight, under performing players with ridiculous salaries as they can...and that will likely mean selling for less than they might want. Martial and Varane will be free. Van de Beek will be gone one way or another. Sancho will be gone one way or another. I can see management forcing Ten Hag's hand (assuming he's still employed) and selling Antony. I wouldn't be surprised to see Casemiro moved as well. Maybe Ericksen and Wan-Bissaka, too. Going to be a lot of movement on the United roster in the summer window.

Greatest German footballer of all time.

I had the privilege of meeting him and spending time around him, through mutual friends.

He was a true gentleman. Sad news.

He was always kind and supportive, never had this attitude of "we were so much better" that you sometimes find with old pundits.
