Fau is such a fun team to watch. I’m glad they returned 99% of their team for another March madness run. Team is full of experience and nice players who aren’t intimidated by anyone. They’re built for another run this year as for Memphis, the only chance they have for making the tourney is winning the AAC conference tourney. Pretty big fall off after they pulled off some big upsets and made the top 25 earlier in the season. Caleb Mills was such a huge loss. They were next the same
I highly recommend everyone watches Dalton Knecht, Tennessee. How this kid got transferred from Snorth Dakota Colorado Directional Tech...I have no idea
Reed (I think) is on the cusp of a very long NBA career random aside….at high school tournament with my kid and dad. We got to see Hitchcock win their 2nd title in 2 years this morning. Hanging out watching the Coogs at a pub on the Riverwalk right now. But there’s a kid for a 1A school called Benjamin…kid is named Grayson Rigder or Rigdon. He averaged about 45 ppg this season. Oh and he was responsible for 10 touchdowns in the state championship game as well. Absurd athlete. He’s a junior.
Teams that are going to matchup with BYU in the tourney are going to hate it. One of the most unorthodox teams especially for the opposing teams bigs that can be a matchup nightmare. And if you've never played against them once, it's a definite shocker
I totally agree. That’s the kind of team (with shooters) that could be a nightmare for a higher seeded team…plus they already have lots of experience playing great teams in the Big 12.
After receiving more than 17,000 votes, Grayson Rigdon of Benjamin is the MaxPreps Texas High School Football Player of the Week. [9/14/23] Rigdon, a 5-foot-10, 180-pound junior, accounted for 552 yards and nine touchdowns in a 72-27 win over Abilene Christian. He ran 14 times for 338 yards and eight touchdowns while also completing 12 of 16 passes for 214 yards and a score.
I'd like to see him play next year, but Benjamin is halfway between Ft Worth and Lubbock, so I don't see that happening. He reminds me of Ace Whitehead (is there a better name? I think not) out of Lampasas, now playing baseball at UT. https://texassports.com/sports/baseball/roster/ace-whitehead/12823
Tech wins big. UH close to tip off. Love this time of year, even though I haven't been able to watch any of it today so far.
Up till now i felt penny was doing ok His teams had faults but they played hard but this team was just bunch of guys stat chasing I hope they get it together and we start playing them again cause that was a fun series
