    It is a mutual option. Basically, those options only ever get taken by both parties at 2am when both the team and the player are the only two left at the bar.

    Mount Camden happened. He would have about 2.5-3 times as many homers at MMP, per Fangraphs.

    Not the Astros choice is his and unless he gets hurt and is expected to miss major time next year he will take the buyout 100%

    I know I’m in the minority but having lost my dad to pancreatic cancer in November, this trade is a big win and I’m happy to be an Astros fan today. Obviously winning is important…but I can say, my dad was in the hospital in both 2019 and 2021 WS games and we didn’t give a damn about what happened. Can’t wait to call my mom and tell her about Mancini’s backstory.
