Absolutely hilarious. They don’t even let a call in if it’s isn’t pro-Easterby slander. It’s a complete meltdown. One minute they want McCown, next they start to come to terms he’s the guy, then he’s not the guy and Landry gets upset. Every 2-3 minutes it’s Easterby this and Easterby that lmao. Based on how much they are pooing the org, it’s bound to workout. John Lopez went from saying Lovie Smith is a great guy to the organization being toxic for signing him.
Boogeyman Jack haunts us all. I'm still unsure of his role within the organization. But now I'm starting to think Caserio is just another Patriot flunkie that can't hack it without Belichick.
And how much of this has to do w both being devout Christians? Are we burying the fact that religious affiliation seems to have just as big if not the biggest influence in this teams decision making process?? This franchise is like a ******* Righteous Gemstones spin off. Can't wait to see the Cal and Jack 30 For 30.
The process of how we got here is beyond inept. Lovie is ehhh, but it's not even about that. How can you sell any kind of optimism with another bridge coach that will absolutely be gone in a year or 2. This is a pathetic move by a pathetic front office.
I would not be surprised if at some point Cal doesn’t use that old trope, I’m not racist some of my best friends are black but instead pivots it to football and says I’m not racist my last 2 coaches were black.
Man I hate to agree with Cowherd, but today he said the Texans are the worst run franchise in all of U.S. professional sports. I have to agree.
Draft capital rules the day and potentially more with some trades. You can have the best coach in the world and it doesn’t mean anything with a terrible GM that doesn’t know how to get quality player personnel. NC has not failed on the scouting front as of yet. I hope he cleans up his one year deal stuff and tries to get glue guys for LS-D and maybe sign one or two of the premier RBs on the market. There are more than a few. Mills selection has so far proven to be better than expected, it’s literally true value to draft a QB in the third that pans out. Maybe… Lovie Smith is a blessing. Again, this is year 2 and we really gotta take a step back and evaluate at a later date.
Agreed. Since Cal took over I've never seen a poorer run franchise in Houston history. Can't comment on all sports, but this is a shitshow.
