[Premium Post] Donald Sterling is not an NFL owner and is a complete moron. With that said, as soon as I post this reply, I am going to check to see if his former side piece V Stiviano (aka Maria Perez) is doing well. I have no doubt she landed on her feet, or back, as the case may be. GOOD DAY
Leftwich is not a good candidate. He ruined Josh Rosen in Arizona and has had no success to speak of without Tom Brady, the GOAT, as his QB.
In all seriousness, I wonder if this would actually change their decision if McCown is their guy. Although I’d really really like to see Cal at the opening presser trying to explain this one.
I assume you read the part I wrote in parentheses. Anyway, since most basketball teams employee more than 70% black players wouldn't your non racist logic apply to them as well?
More than 70% black because those players are the best and will make those white owners the most money.
But these same owners refuse to hire a black coach that will win and will make them the most money? Illogical. If there were an advantage, teams would be racing to exploit it.
The problem isn’t hiring McCown… The problem is they will hire McCown and give him 4 cycles (years) before they even debate on firing him. Meanwhile, they hired a Puerto Rican looking “African American” to try to keep Deshaun…. Cully tanked like they wanted and then they fired him for getting them a REBUILDING HIGH PICK THAT THEY PAID HIM TO GET after one year. And expect people to think that’s ok. lol
NFL teams (outside of the Rooney Rule makers) hire Black coaches for rebuilds, and FIRE Black coaches once the rebuild is (just about) completed.
It just happened with the chargers and Anthony Lynn lol. Herbert won Roy under him, then they fire him and hire a white guy. It’s about to happen in Miami too. Brian flores set that defense up well, they just need to trade for deshaun Watson
lol Tony dingy was fired after he built the Tampa bay bucs and gruddn won with his players. They beat the raiders in the super bowl. Grudens former team and the raiders were so stupid and didn’t change their offense. Notice gruden and the bucs got worse and worse as those players dungy coached up got older. Then he retired went into broadcasting with this aura around him like he was some genius
Correct me if I'm wrong, and I may be, but didn't we just have our first formal sit down interview with Flores on Monday? And wasn't he the only black coach we interviewed? And this was after we've brought in a couple guys for second interviews? Anyways, let's hire McCown today. MichaelJacksonpopcorn.gif Edit: forgot about Hines Ward.
2 consecutive coaches that didn't even have so much as head coordinator experience. The Texans are embarrassingly lax with standards beyond religion. I fully expect this nonsense now, but it's somehow still astounding. Bob McNair wasn't a good owner by any stretch, but most of his calls on coaching were very defensible, I would say good even with Kubiak. But his idiot son...good lord.
