I liked Reacher. Yes, the lead won't win any awards for acting, unless they use NBA refs, but I thought the scripts were pretty well written and overall it had a "Reacher" feel to it.
Watching ATLANTA I am watching the 1st episode of this last season I'm like. .. I get it . .. . . Its the story of the hugging kid but Why? Beyond being depressing. I think this should have been something they explored it differently nothing near funny or entertaining about it . . . IMO Rocket River I guess they made their point but . . . .. yea It is . . just odd
I would have found my enjoyement of the show much increased without such a stiff acting the role. Literally, he is the face of the franchise and he sucks. Like you said, everything else around it was decent, but it's hard to truly like it when we have a wooden pole spouting lines. Reacher is supposed to be not just physical but also smart.
I actually prefer it now that Keen is off. She was a horrible actress and that subplot became stale quick.
2nd episode was dope tho.. They always have a "wtf" kinda episode every season... So I didn't trip about how the 1st one started
Billions. I am tired of this one too. After the last season . . . I find I don't care about any of the people I don't care about their stories There appears just another season of BIG BANK TAKE LITTLE BANK Rocket River
Shows I have not finished because I got bored and/or they began to suck: Billions For All Mankind (will try again soon) Shameless Everything Star Trek 24 American Horror Story
I haven't watched much of the new Star Trek Series. I saw some of the Discovery when they were running it on regular broadcast but I didn't like it and it certainly wasn't enough to get me to sign up to Paramount Plus. I've seen a few clips of the new season of Picard and it does look interesting. Still not interested enough though to get Paramount Plus.
I've been raving about For All Mankind. It's almost worth it just for the references to Houston in the 60's and 70's.
Strange New Worlds! It's a spin-off of ST: Discovery and is set in the timeline before ST:TOS. I liked both Anson Mount's and Rebecca Romijn's acting in Discovery, so hopefully this'll be a good one. Anson Mount seemed like he was an awesome captain.
I did not watch the last season of Discovery or Picard I hear Picard is good just wasn't energized to pick it up Discovery is . . . kind of all over for me and they focus on characters I don't care about more politics than adventure sometimes Narrative building . . .. I'm not the "SOCIAL JUSTICE HATING" dude but d*mmit gimmie a fricking SHOW . . not a lecture Rocket River
I've tapped out at some point on every season of AHS except for "Freak Show". After "AHS: Cult", I gave up and just stopped watching any of the new ones. I did start "Ratchet" which was just another season of AHS...and gave up after about 5 eps. They start out fairly strong and then it's like everybody just gives up.
The HIMYM ending was the absolute worse piece of dog sh*t I ever saw. To this day, I have not watched one rerun. If I see it on TV, I immediately change the channel. I have not nor will I ever look at one second of HIMYF.
The History Channel is only good on certain holidays like Veterans Day or Memorial Day or 9/11, etc. Winning Time - was really looking forward to this one, but I'm 4 episodes in and I haven't seen any actual basketball yet. Classic case of style over substance. TOO MUCH style and zero substance. Maybe I'll read the book instead.
ATLANTA's whole show is a why are you doing this. That famous Michael Jackson episode I'm still wondering what was the reason. Sometimes I think Atlanta does stuff because real life stuff is stranger than anything surreal Atlanta can come up with. The first part of the first episode was about the real black city under Lake Lanier for goodness sake. all so crazy but true things. The Free Hugs boy is such a crazy story you couldn't even come up with that if you wanted to.
I'm completely out on all the CW/Arrowverse super hero shows. I heard that show Superman and Lois is good, but I watched a couple episodes and their son is so whiney I had to dip. Im still trying to get through SnowFall and Ozark. They are still good but I struggle to watch them.
