2015-2016 Steph Curry was THE ONLY UNANIMOUS MVP winner in NBA History. As a matter of fact Harden didn’t even finish second or third or fourth or fifth. He finished 9th place. How and What exactly was he “robbed of”??? Speaking of Curry he too left Nike a couple years before Harden. Why didn’t he “start getting hammered by certain reporters / tv personalities with ties to Nike”? Quite the opposite actually for him. He pretty much became the media darling. Quit making stuff up to fit your Harden narrative.
One of the years he was robbed by Curry .. either the first Curry or the second .. If you didn’t watch ever ESPN and TNT game the last several years… it was easy to see the narrative flip.. the dibble dribble dribble jokes (Barkley - Nike) … from oh he’s carrying the team to … he doesn’t play defense (Brian Windhorst - Bron - Nike) Etc Etc Adidas was prepped to overtake Nike and bypassed Jordan brand in 2017… casuals listen to their fav taking heads and don’t watch games…Reddit and Twitter turned into .. Harden Flops, Travels, No defense..Harden and Morey even spoke on it. Harden has crapped the bed the last few years but Adidas did pass Nike in 2019/2020
He was never “robbed” by Curry of anything. The first year he won the MVP the race wasn’t as close as Harden fans want to believe. The second year as I mentioned he was the only Unanimous winner and Harden was 9th place. Here’s the final voting for the one you think he was robbed. https://www.basketball-reference.com/awards/awards_2015.html#mvp Those narrative existed/exist cause they’re true. It’s not as if they made up some stuff out of thin air because they randomly dislike Harden. Of course Harden and Morey and their defenders will say otherwise. Adidas passed Nike in what? Do you have a source or proof for whatever your claiming?
I read that before you even posted it. Also nowhere does it say Adidas passed Nike in 2019/2020 like you claimed. The article especially mentions nothing specifically about basketball shoes which I assume is what we’re even talking about. https://kixstats.com/news/2020-21-nba-reagular-season-basketball-shoes-statistics
