Biggest Tournament upset in recent memory. What was Kentucky thinking? Apparently that they would walk all over St. Peters. Well, surprise! Many pundits projected Kentucky for the Final Four. Only problem is you have to win several games to get there.
Nah oral Roberts upset #2 Ohio state just last year. It happens. That’s why I referenced them as I was watching the game.
I think something short of an Elite 8 next season and there will be questions asked because for all his recruiting classes, his overall results at UK have been lackluster recently.
Scores more than half his team's points in a huge upset...can't take that away from him. But holy **** it's like he was trying to win the national championship of douchebags there at the end.
I like it. I dont care the personality as long as you have one. He was feeling himself and he should.
ngl, I want to see UT struggle. the way Beard Left Texas Tech and how their season has been pretty lack luster, I want it to continue. It's fascinating and hilarious.
him leaving TT was inevitable. I won't fault him for that especially when he's a young coach. all young coaches will strive for the bigger opportunity
Maybe, but the way Beard left was pretty slimy. He deserves everything that he has gotten this season.
haha what beard did isn't anything different from what coaches all across the ncaa will continue to do. If the opportunity presents itself, no young coach is going to turn it down. He already took one of his teams to the national championship there. that was a gift and unprecedented actually the ncaa as a whole is filled with building blocks. not everyone is blessed to start with the premier programs I felt some type of way when Hermann left UH after turning the program completely around. But I get it
Turns out it was Mark Adams, the assistant coach and the creator of the defense, that might have been the real x-factor to those teams. Be careful what you wish for. TTU and the city was trying to give Beard the whole thing for life. Now in Austin he has all the pressure to perform and none of the adulation. So for it hasn't been good.
