    Minnesota being Minnesota. Unless KAT asked to play PF and their plan is to bully teams inside, which could work with KAT's range.

    The signing I thought is completed on July 6. So technically they could wait till the trade goes through and have Kat sign the extension after the trade right?

    Teams just throwing their future picks around like candy. The future comes at you fast. Not sure I’d want to sell the future of my team to get a current “star” who very well may be washed up in a couple years. Especially not one as flawed and one-dimensional as Gobert.

    Can’t they trade kat and then have the new team sign him to the max extension. The wolves can decide to remove the max extension offer they just gave him. Since it is not July 6. Then have the new team sign him to the same extension.

    What? P-Bev and Utah seem like a match made in he…. never mind.

    Although Danny Ainge and Patrick Beverley being part of the same organization is appropriate. Kind of like the beginning of a Cobra Kai situation. Just need to trade for Draymond and Marcus Smart to fully go to the Dark Side.
