Now that the Finals are over and the draft is coming up, bring on the trades and free agency signings. First up, this:
Kind of surprising but they did sit him down the stretch of the ECF. Not sure if he's looking for an extension or to go play with Harden again.
Westbrook will take his talents to Charlotte next season for Haywood and Rozier. Book it. Jordan must still be paying his dues to the NBA. But that deal would save him from those two blunders. No idea why he keeps embarrassing himself as owner/GM otherwise. Although there are are reasons why I thought this was possible. Mainly, Westbrook is a Jordan athlete, he is still adored by players of Jordan's era, and I think Westbrook is aware of the admiration because he did show out in the last game in Charlotte.
He is a really sad story. I know that John Lucas has worked with him in the past when he was still in high school and he lived in Houston for awhile. Last I heard he gave up playing basketball and was nearly 500 lbs. He had a really nasty father that beat him and he died like a decade or more ago and was like 500-600 lbs.
