I thought Harden had an “old man game” that would age well and that Curry’s body would break down by 30. Shows what I know.
the WC has been represented by the Spurs, Lakers or Warriors for 20 of those 27 years. That’s just somewhat the nature of the sport. The East is more varied but still a lot of repeat visitors - Bulls, Heat, Cavs, Celtics. I’ll take any championship but oh to be that team that lands on something with that “it” combo of players and organization and culture that just makes you a hard out in the playoffs. That would be so great lol.
Didn't watch the game. Was Tatum double teamed all game? Or is Jaylen Brown the true alpha of that team?
It's weird that dudes have to bring Harden into every possible thread to put him down. Some of y'all really are weird.
adam silver and investors win..as usual game rigged. i feel lucky that i removed my League Pass around early May, cuz i saw through this **** long before semi-finals. lol
Congrats to Rockets legend Mitchell Wiggins for his son winning a championship. Mitchell might have had one himself if he and Lew Lloyd hadn't been so into the white powder.
But it’s not weird that dudes talked a whole lotta shiit throughout the season like NBD and then play the victim card when the season ends with Curry stacking more accolades and Harden unceremoniously gets bounced from the 2nd round.
Mentality is everything. Curry is in bed by 10PM when he’s not playing games. He puts his kids to bed then goes to sleep. Harden is partying with Meek Mill until 4AM. Their life’s to could not be more different
Been saying this forever. Proper sleep, rest, diet, nutrition, rehab, recovery. All that ish matters. Especially in your 30’s. It’s not about running stadium stairs when you feel like it and the cameras are on and then partying the next day with zero sleep and trying to practice or play a game.
for someone that understand all this nba stuff better than me. how does them winning again effect durant's image and legacy?
I'll be honest, I didn't really get the hype for the Celtics coming into the Finals, like they were a historic powerhouse. They beat the Milwaukee Bucks missing their second-best player and then b-a-r-e-l-y squeaked past the crippled Miami Heat, by the skins of their teeth. They have a great defense, but probably not better than the Warriors'. People seem to forget that the Warriors had the best defense by a mile before Draymond Green got hurt and missed months. And their offense is extremely rickety--the Warriors' offense is not as potent as it once was, but it still has multiple outlets, multiple ways to win and Steph Curry, one of the several greatest offensive weapons ever. I picked the Warriors in 5, and that's what it would have been if not for that baffling collapse in game 1. The Celtics were an okay Finals opponent, but I never thought they were a truly great team or even equal to the Warriors. And that's before taking into consideration that the Warriors have championship poise--which they showed in game 6, after the Celtics came out with a desperation surge to take a quick 12-point lead. The Warriors took that and then blew them out from there (a 25-point turnaround). I'm really surprised that so many thought the Celtics would win the series.
if that trash were here youd have rockets offense run through him...dont forget he was a young allstar something rockets fans adore and tank and sacrifice their entire seasons for
but dumbalytics told me coaching doesnt matter in nba and all you need is THE TOP PICKS...ie talent is what matters the most...lololol
