curry can score in ISO but it's not something he wants to do all game. and if the warriors want to iso with Poole I would certainly like my chances of winning that matchup If I'm the Celtics. as long as the Celtics don't play drop coverage anymore I just can't see the warriors winning the series.

the warriors are a very good defensive team, but not as good as Miami. the only guy that really puts intense ball pressure is Payton ii. Miami has 6-7 guys that will that get up into you and Bam is a bigger version of draymond. Boston scored so much easier last night. low key the warriors defense has been trash all playoffs. they give up so many wide open threes just hoping they won't go in. that mavs series should have easily gone at least 6 games with the all the great looks.

Good points. I think GS may also run more complex screening for Curry, Poole, and Klay to get open 3pters. The Celtics are very good at shutting down 2-man PnR action, but double screens or other similar actions have the potential to confuse their tendencies. Curry always has the possibility of catching fire even from just a little extra daylight.

    Go Celtics?

Because I'm old I couldn't stay up past the 3rd. I figured the bottom just fell out for Boston but I'm happy as hell to see them walk away with game 1.

They play a really team-oriented style. I'm glad Theis is where he belongs.

You don’t go to the Finals 6 times in 8 years by accident or being shook after a Game 1 loss either. We can agree to disagree. The Warriors will respond

Ed Malloy and Tony brothers. Adam silver sent the Calvary in to have this series tied at 1-1 heading to Boston

The Warriors are the last of the past. Not sure if the NBA is ready to let go. Celtics could just take it regardless. Flip the script.
