That's what's ultimately going to become our problem. We don't really need anyone but those 3 to have an ego about scoring in the starting lineup. KPJ is a good player but the other 3 are far more promising prospects to develop and build around. Having said that, if KPJ plays more off ball and turns a few floaters into dunks, he'll be able to keep pace with those 3. Just peering into the future though, our starting point guard is going to have to be either a superstar or a very steady handed PG who can hit open 3's and play defense. KPJ can do all those things but he has to want to do them more than he currently does. Never say never.
Have we unwittingly found the reason of not only why the ball keeps "slipping" out of Jabari's hands on the dribble but also why his teammates won't pass him the ball much! (don't want the return pass...eww)
He's turned it around SO QUICK! Those pullup threes, middys over the defender...Bari looks so smooth right now, and I have a feeling he's only going to get better from here. His confidence is back, his ankle is healthy, his hands are warm and soft league better watch out
He looks really good lately, you can see the nerves coming down. He's starting to get rebounds, he's hitting those step-in threes...He's gonna be good
Jabari just needs time to consolidate his game (and a real PG), he's going to be a beast. I have a question... why is Eric Gordon still on this team?
Ever since Jabari turned to p*rn, he has settled in and started playing well. Could this be his Olajuwon Islam moment?
We’ve been asking that since Harden was traded. Game is slowing down a bit for Smith and you can see the results.
He's starting to develop his bag and what he showed in Auburn. Post ups, attacking the rim, transition three-pointers, aggressiveness, and attacking defense/rebounding. If he hits his potential this city will love him in big playoff games. I want the team to develop him like a shooting guard personally, with off-ball movement and playmaking like Klay or Ray Allen.
3P is up to 35.4% 43% over the last 9 games He had a really bad 5 game stretch shooting 3/22. Had the ankle injury in the middle of this time. That stretch drags his % down from 40 to 35.
He's pulling a Jalen. Oh man did I grin when he did that little man gesture tonight. He's having fun finally.
