Guys, guys, guys... He showed up. He showed up! More than just the statline, which was solid, its the WAY he played. It's just SOLID, FUNDAMENTAL basketball. You can EASILY extrapolate this game to what a consistent all-star version of this kid is. It's 30 pounds of muscle more. It's a DECENT+ dribble drive. Again, VERY surprising, he has some of this in his package. It's a floor spacer. It's a rebounder and defender. VERY IMPRESSED!! That's all i needed, was to see on the court, what the ultimate prototype is/can be. And I see it for sure.
He showed up, showed out, and I think it's only going to get more showy from here! Obviously he'll have his small struggles like every rookie but Jabari seems incredibly mature for his age.
Not trying to read too much into it, but it looked like he had some disagreements with the rest of the line-up. I know he's a hard worker and a very tough competitor, but the coaches do need to pull Jabari back in these circumstances even if Jabari was in the right in terms of what they were arguing about.
Young cat needs to slow his role and shut his mouth..... weak A** defense, like he is scared or something. Three games in, im willing to give the benefit of doubt. But I don't like that standing around, scared to jump, and play weak side defense crap.
He is straight money from the line. Hasn't missed all year. Even after the ish with Jalen he wasn't phased. Dropped 4 more like nothing even happened. That poise AND he's only 19!
Jabari being automatic on open shots will be a revelation for this team. His ability to rise and shoot on mismatches will be vital in future playoff games.
Silas is horrible. The 2 main centerpiece's about to go toe to toe and all he can do is wave to the fans. Totally oblivious. He has got to go!
