Can't wait to see what Hakeem can do for this kid, with him being long, 19, and having great footwork.

Love this pick! Love the fact that we got a 2-WAY PLAYER! He was my number 1 all along

BUT can anyone answer why in the HELL it took Stone the full 5 mins to make the pick??

Jabari Smith doesn't have anyone in his corner to tell him to put on a fake happy face? It's important to ingratiate yourself to your future team and fans.

At first, I thought it was his dad or a coach. He looks old in that pic.

I do agree with the „the guy“ statement - but the good thing is, we already have a „the guy“.

But I think we are doing him a disservice if we are just calling him a 3&D player. Sure, that’s how he will start out as for us, but he does have that it-factor and I am pretty sure he can add another dimension to his game.

I love this dude's maturity. Green and KPJ got the swag. Sengun is somewhere in the middle of Swag and maturity. Bari sounds real serious. I like that.

Jabari wore the most tasteful suit. Yeah, I'm conservative when it comes to that.

    Love his attitude!
Disappointed but now just wants to get to work and show Houston they made a GREAT decision!
    All about that work!

Great potential, the youngest of the big 3 by 6 months and a floor of a better defending Rashard Lewis.

I think it may eventually come out that Orlando promised him they would pick him.
That wasn't a look of anger on his face but one of betrayal!

    He really is Rashard 2.0!
Remember when Rashard was drafted he said that the Rocks promised him they would take him with one of their 1st round picks?
    Deja vu!

If this kid develops a handle he will be LETHAL!

I wanted Mobley last year and we got Green and it turned out excellent.

This year I wanted Banchero who we never had a chance at and we got Jabari.

    Let's hope it's 2 for 2 for Stone.

All aboard the Jabari train with Clutch and Bima!
